Gold Road updates Gruyere production guidance

Australia's next gold miner, Gold Road Resources (ASX: GOR), says it expects its Gruyere joint venture project will produce 100,000 ounces of gold in 2019 after achieving first gold pour during the second half of the year. Ramp‐up to full nameplate capacity is expected to be completed within six to seven months of first gold.

Golden Rim extends permit acquisition agreement

Aspiring West African miner Golden Rim Resources (ASX: GMR) has agreed with the relevant parties under the heads of agreement extend the agreement to acquire permits adjacent to its Kouri gold project in Burkina Faso (through the acquisition of Lafi Gold) to the end of March. The parties continue to progress the finalisation of the definitive agreement.

Infill drilling at Gilmour hits golden heights for Gold Road

Gold Road Resources (ASX: GOR) says infill and extensional drilling results at its exciting Gilmour deposit in the Yamarna Greenstone Belt has demonstrated remarkable consistency and some exceptional high-grade intersections. They included 0.62m at 117.8 g/t Au, 1.8m at 29.7 g/t, 19m at 2.8 g/t and 8m at 6.2 g/t. The intersections ranged from across depths from 63m to 340m. Gold Road is fast-tracking work at Gilmour to report a maiden resource this year.

Tier 1 Gruyere gold project celebrates milestones as primary crusher fired up and first ore mined

Gold Road Resources (ASX: GOR) has announced key milestones at the Gruyere gold project, its 50-50 JV with Gold Fields in the north-eastern Goldfields. Construction of this Tier 1 gold mine is 91% complete and commissioning of the primary crusher has begun. Mining contractor Downer has mined first ore as the JV builds up significant stockpiles ahead of the start of gold production, still slated for the June quarter.
