Leading mining and civil contractor NRW Holdings Limited (ASX: NWH) has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Action Drill & Blast Pty Ltd has been awarded a long-term drilling contract by Stanmore Resources SMC Limited (ASX: SMR) at its South Walker Creek open cut mine, 35km west of Nebo in Queensland’s Bowen Basin.
The contract, valued at approximately $65 million over the five years, is due to commence next month and will utilise a workforce of about 35 personnel.
