Experienced journalist Robert Guy has been appointed to the Australian Financial Review as its deputy companies and markets editor, marking his return to Australia as well as the publication.

Mr Guy previously spent three years based in Hong Kong, where he served as managing editor for Barron’s Asia.
Serving in his new role, he will be based in Perth.
