Robotic technology company FBR Limited (ASX: FBR) has advised that, following Hurricane Milton’s passing through Fort Myers, in Florida in the US, all its staff located in the area are safe. Additionally, the Hadrian X® did not sustain any damage during the storm.
FBR also confirms that the houses it has built in the Demonstration Program to date were unaffected by Hurricane Milton.
Fort Myers is located about 128km south of where the Category 3 hurricane made landfall. While the storm did cause significant damage to property, the facility housing the Hadrian X® was undamaged.
“Hurricane Milton was a significant and dangerous weather system,” managing director Mike Pivac said.
“First and foremost, I am glad to report that all of our people are safe and that our Hadrian X® robot and facilities at our Florida base did not sustain any damage.
“Our thoughts are with those who have been affected by Hurricane Milton and Hurricane Helene over the past few
weeks. While there is still significant repair and clean up underway in the area, we are looking forward to continuing with
our Demonstration Program in the coming days.”
The Demonstration Program is part of a broader JV agreement with global building products group CRH.
