Northern Minerals (ASX: NTU) has announced that WA-based Primero Group has been selected by Sinosteel MECC to undertake the concrete, mechanical and electrical installation, testing and commissioning of the Browns Range Pilot Plant Project in WA. Primero will commence work on site in Q3 2017.
- Sinosteel MECC has executed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with WA-based mining and civil contractor, Primero Group Pty Ltd (Primero).

Australian heavy rare earths developer, Northern Minerals Limited (ASX: NTU) is pleased to advise that the lead contractor to the Browns Range Pilot Plant Project, Sinosteel MECC, has executed a Letter of Intent with WA-based mining and civil contractor, Primero Group Pty Ltd.
The scope of works includes the concrete, mechanical and electrical installation, testing and commissioning of the Browns Range Pilot Plant Project in WA. Northern Minerals is currently implementing the Pilot Plant Project, focusing on the production of the heavy rare earth mineral Dysprosium.
Primero Group is a multi-disciplinary turnkey company specialising in the design, construction and commissioning of projects. With regards to technology minerals, Primero has delivered lithium, vanadium and tantalum projects throughout regional Western Australia.
With mining about to commence at Browns Range and the processing plant equipment and modules currently under construction by Sinosteel MECC in China, it is expected that Primero will commence work on site in Q3 2017.
