West Australian gold explorer Focus Minerals (ASX: FML) (Focus or the Company) is pleased to announce new exploration drilling results from its Laverton Gold Project.
The Laverton Gold Project (Laverton) covers 362km2 of highly prospective tenements, including the historic Lancefield and Chatterbox Trend mines, on the outskirts of the Laverton township in the Goldfields region. Focus’ strategy is to identify sufficient open pit Mineral Resources across the Laverton tenement package to refine its Stage 1 open pit PFS (see ASX announcement dated 14 April 2021).
HIGHLIGHTS
- Initial results received from reverse circulation (RC) exploration drilling carried out at the Laverton Gold Project in the September 2021 Quarter
- The drilling program comprised:
- 4,638m of RC holes at various deposits/prospects
- 1,113.7m diamond drilling was completed at Lake Carey E38/2873 –results pending
