Tritton
- Mineral Resources decrease from 170kt contained copper to 150kt contained copper;
- Ore Reserves unchanged at 40kt contained copper, however the grade has increased from 1.3% to 1.4% since previous estimate;
- Majority of variance due to depletion from mining.
Murrawombie
- Mineral Resources decrease from 110kt contained copper to 100kt contained copper;
- Ore Reserves decrease from 100kt contained copper to 82kt contained copper;
- Ore reserves have varied mainly due to a redesign of the mining method as well as depletion from mining.
Aeris Resources Limited (ASX: AIS) (Aeris) has provided an update to Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves for the Tritton and Murrawombie deposits, as at 30 June 2017.
At Tritton, the Mineral Resources have decreased from 11.2Mt at 1.5% Cu for 170kt contained copper to 9.9Mt at 1.6% Cu for 150kt contained copper. This reflects a decrease of 20kt contained copper over the previous 12 months, mainly due to depletion from mining.
Ore Reserves at Tritton decreased from 6.4Mt at 1.6% Cu for 100kt contained copper to 5.2Mt at 1.6% Cu for 82kt contained copper over the past 12 months, also due mainly to depletion from mining.
At the Murrawombie deposit, Mineral Resources decreased from 8.1Mt at 1.4% Cu for 110kt contained copper to 6.6Mt at 1.5% Cu for 100kt contained copper, although it is noted that the deposit grade increased due to a redesign of the mining method.
Murrawombie Ore Reserves remained steady at 40kt contained copper, however the tonnes and grade changed from 3.3Mt at 1.3% Cu previously to 3.95Mt at 1.4% Cu, once again as a result of the changed mining method.
