Specialist vehicle importer and distributor BLK Auto is pleased to announce it has further expanded its zero emission fleet with the addition of a new Battery Electric Low Floor City Bus.
The bus has been designed and engineered in Australia and BLK will provide operators with a choice of either a locally manufactured body on the BLK chassis, or a complete BLK solution.
A key feature of this particular model is the positioning of the batteries within the actual chassis, providing a lower centre of gravity and massively increasing both the performance of the bus as well as the comfort for the passengers.
Further, the batteries are protected from the direct sun, thereby extending their life, are well protected from collision damage and have much easier and safer access for any maintenance. Comprising of European drivelines ensures not only comfort and efficiency, but also better aftersales support.
