Gold Road Resources has published its first stand-alone Sustainability Report – Mapping the Future.
The Report, lodged with the ASX this morning, encompasses the company’s environmental, social and governance performance for its exploration and development activities as well as its 50% non-operating interest in the Gruyere Gold Mine for the year to 31 December 2020.
In preparing the Report, Gold Road undertook a review of the sustainability context, trends and material sustainability issues that may affect the company and its stakeholders.
The Sustainability Report is a companion to and should be read in conjunction with Gold Road’s 2020 Annual Report and Corporate Governance Statement.
“As we continue to make strides in our sustainability journey, the publication of our first Sustainability Report is a proud achievement for the company and another step towards our vision to become an ESG leader within the gold mining sector,” Gold Road managing director Duncan Gibbs said.
