Mid-tier gold production and exploration company Gold Road Resources Limited (ASX: GOR) has ceased participation in the current process conducted by Orion Resource Partners in relation to a potential transaction for an interest in Greenstone Gold Mines in Canada.
As previously stated, Gold Road continues to evaluate strategic opportunities as part of a considered and diligent growth strategy.
The company will only pursue these opportunities on terms and at values that it believes are in the best interests of its shareholders.
Gold Road confirmed on April 15 that it was involved in the sales process run by Orion Resource Partners.
Gold Road’s principal asset is a half-share in the Gruyere gold mine, in Western Australia’s north-eastern Goldfields. The Gruyere JV is a 50:50 joint venture with Gold Fields (JSE: GFI), which manages and operates the Gruyere gold mine. In addition, Gold Road also has a significant investment portfolio.
