NRW Holdings Ltd (ASX:NWH) has revealed $92.2 million worth of contract wins and extensions, with the largest being a $41 million expansion to work on the Pacific Highway Upgrade project in NSW. That extension takes the total value of the contract to about $121m. Subsidiary Golding has won $26.7m of orders since the start of FY19, comprising a combination of contract extensions and new work awards. Action Drill & Blast, another NRW subsidiary, has won $13.5m of work at Talison Lithium’s Greenbushes mine in southern WA, and an $11m subcontract for work at the South Flank project.
Golding Contractors (Civil) – Pacific Highway Upgrade – Woolgoolga to Ballina Contract Extension
NRW Holdings Limited (ASX:NWH) (NRW or the Company) is pleased to announce that wholly owned subsidiary Golding Contractors has been awarded a scope extension to its existing contract with Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) Pacific Highway Upgrade (Woolgoolga-Ballina W2B) in northern New South Wales.
The current contract is valued at approximately $80M and it is anticipated that the scope extension will take the total value to approximately $121M.
Expanded works to be undertaken include bulk earthworks, assorted drainage, topsoil placing and hydromulching/seeding.
It is expected that the Golding workforce will peak at approximately 75 personnel and works will be completed in November 2019.
Golding Contractors (Urban)
The Urban business within Golding Civil has been awarded $26.7M of orders since the beginning of the current financial year. The work awarded is a combination of contract extensions at established sites and contract awards for new project sites for both existing and new clients.
Action Drill & Blast – Talison Lithium Greenbushes – Contract Extension
NRW Holdings Limited is also pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary Action Drill & Blast has been awarded a 15-month extension by Talison Lithium for services at the Greenbushes Mine.
The contract extension is for blast hole drilling, grade control and blasting services and builds on the relationship from 2011 when the original contract was awarded. The extension, which incorporates an increased scope of works has an estimated value of $13.5M.
Action Drill & Blast – South Flank
Action Drill & Blast has also been awarded a subcontract for drill & blast services at the South Flank Project. The contract is valued at approximately $11M and will have a duration of 8 months.
