Leading mining and civil contractor NRW Holdings (ASX:NWH) has announced that Primero Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of NRW, has executed a Letter of Intent for an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract with Panoramic Resources Limited for their Savannah Nickel Project under which Primero will operate and maintain the processing and surface infrastructure facilities at the Savannah Nickel mine for an initial term of three years, with option to extend an additional two years.
The LOI signed between Panoramic and Primero is a milestone marking a growing industry recognition of the value Primero brings under their contract operations and maintenance model and it is pleasing to see this model being incorporated into a base metal operation at Savannah.
Primero now has a growing track record of delivering value through turnkey O&M processing plant solutions and an exciting pipeline of new O&M opportunities in the base and battery metals sectors. The estimated value of the contract is A$35M.
