Leading national mining and civil contractor NRW Holdings (ASX: NWH) today announced it had secured circa $240m in contract awards.
HIGHLIGHTS
- NRW Civil: construction work at Rio Tinto’s West Angelas mine in WA’s East Pilbara to support the development of the A West 1, A West 2 and A West 3 deposits to support sustaining mining from 2026. The contract is scheduled for completion by November 2025.
- DIAB Engineering: Following successful delivery of key packages for the construction of the Lynas Rare Earths Processing Facility in Kalgoorlie, DIAB Engineering has been successful in securing the SMP Construction package for the Mt Weld Expansion Project.
- Golding Civil: Works will be executed at the Saraji Mine, Dysart (Bowen Basin, Central Queensland) which is part of the BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) metallurgical coal joint venture.
- NRW Civil: First phase of the Bulk Earthworks and Civil Construction contract for Rio Tinto’s Coastal Water Supply Sustaining Project.
- NRW Civil: Misc. Civil Works – Pilbara The scope of work under the contract comprises the supply and installation of concrete with associated earthworks, drainage and road construction. Contract delivery will be executed by a project team of some 40 personnel. Completion estimate is mid-2025.
