NRW Holdings Limited (ASX:NWH) is pleased to advise that its wholly owned subsidiary, Golding Contractors has executed a Contract with the Toowoomba Regional Council for works under the 2022 Flood Recovery Project – South Package. The project is jointly funded by the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DFRA).
Under the contract, Golding will be responsible for the permanent reconstruction of existing Council assets that were damaged in the February 2022 flood event.
Works will be undertaken on more than 2500 individual sites covering 6,500 km², and include sealed and unsealed pavement reconstruction, culvert replacements, general earthworks, formation and shoulder grading of rural roads, rock protection and drainage desilting together with landslip remediation works
The contract is scheduled for completion by October 2024 and has an approximate value of $113 million, structured on cost reimbursable basis.
