St George provides notice of Annual General Meeting

  • 21 October

Growth focused Western Australian nickel company St George Mining (ASX: SGQ) today announced that the Annual General Meeting of the company is scheduled to be held at The Melbourne Hotel, 33 Milligan Street, Perth WA 6000 on 25 November 2020 at 10:00am (AWST).

The Company is closely monitoring the impact of the COVID‐19 virus in Western Australia and following guidance from the Federal and State Governments. Based on the information available at the date of this Notice of Meeting, the Board considers it will be in a position to hold a physical meeting with appropriate measures in place to comply with Federal and State COVID‐19 restrictions regarding gatherings. However, the Company strongly encourages Shareholders to submit completed Proxy Forms prior to the Meeting in accordance with the instructions set out in the Proxy Form and the Notice.

To assist the Company in ensuring that the Meeting is held in compliance with the COVID‐19 restrictions, Shareholders who wish to attend the Meeting in person will need to register their attendance by contacting Sarah Shipway via sarah.shipway@stgm.com.au by no later than 5:00pm (AWST) on 24 November 2020 (Attendance Closing Date).

Any Shareholder that has not registered their attendance by the Attendance Closing Date may not be permitted entry into the Meeting if doing so would result in the Company contravening the restrictions imposed by the Western Australian or Federal Government.

In accordance with temporary modifications to the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) via the Corporations (Coronavirus Economic Response) Determination (No. 1) 2020, the Company will not be sending hard copies of the Notice of Meeting to shareholders.

The Notice of Meeting can be viewed and downloaded from the Company’s website at www.stgm.com.au.

Alternatively, a complete copy of the important Meeting documents has been posted on the Company’s ASX market announcements page (ASX: SGQ).
