Vimy Resources (ASX: VMY) announced in its quarterly report that excavation of the Ambassador North pit and construction of the water pipeline had commenced at the Mulga Rock uranium project in WA.
In mid-December, Vimy received confirmation from DWER that ‘Substantial Commencement’ had been achieved in accordance with the conditions of Ministerial Statement 1046. Mulga Rock is the only uranium project in WA to have met this condition. Field work also commenced at the Alligator River (Northern Territory) and Kingston (Western Australia) projects.
