VRX Silica (ASX: VRX) today reported that the Environmental Protection Authority of Western Australia (EPA) has acknowledged receipt of VRX’s amended Response to Submissions (RtS) document for the Arrowsmith North silica sand project in Western Australia.
HIGHLIGHTS

- EPA review of the RtS is a key step in the environmental approval process
- Publication of the RtS to follow when formal acceptance received from EPA
Subject to further review and acceptance of the updated RtS by the EPA, the EPA will publish the updated RtS on its website, following which the EPA will prepare an assessment report on the Proposal for approval by the Western Australian Environment Minister with recommended conditions.

“This work is the culmination of an extensive series of studies that have been undertaken for the Arrowsmith North silica sand project proposal, which are included in the Environmental Review Document that has previously been published on the EPA website.”
