Aspiring West African miner Golden Rim Resources (ASX: GMR) has agreed with the relevant parties under the heads of agreement extend the agreement to acquire permits adjacent to its Kouri gold project in Burkina Faso (through the acquisition of Lafi Gold) to the end of March. The parties continue to progress the finalisation of the definitive agreement.
Golden Rim Resources Ltd (ASX:GMR; Company) refers to its announcements of 11 December 2018 and 31 January 2019 in relation to its entry into a binding Heads of Agreement (HoA) to acquire two exploration permits, Goueli and Margou, that adjoin the Company’s 100% owned Kouri Gold Project in Burkina Faso, through the acquisition of Lafi Gold Limited.
The Company wishes to advise that the parties have agreed to extend the date under the HoA for entry into a definitive agreement to 31 March 2019. The parties continue to progress the finalisation of the definitive agreement. The Company will continue to update the market, as appropriate, in respect of the proposed acquisition.
