VRX Silica Limited (ASX:VRX) (VRX or Company) held its 2021 Annual General Meeting (AGM) yesterday in Perth, Western Australia, the results of which were announced to ASX later that day.
Despite being able to hold a physical meeting, the Company decided to also live video-stream the AGM for the benefit of those shareholders who were not in a position to attend in person.
Unfortunately, the quality of the streaming service was poor as our venue host’s equipment suffered significant technical problems, despite assurances to the Company otherwise. This was out of the Company’s control.
As a consequence, VRX Managing Director, Bruce Maluish, will repeat the presentation via a webinar to be held at 11.00am (WST) on Wednesday, 1 December 2021 for all shareholders who registered for the live video-stream. An invitation will be sent to those shareholders via email later today.
Any other person who wishes to join the webinar may request to do so by emailing the Company at meetings@vrxsilica.com.au by 9.00am (WST) on Wednesday, 1 December 2021.
Consistent with the policy in place for the AGM, the webinar will allow shareholders to view the proceedings only. Questions that were raised by shareholders prior to the AGM will be addressed in the presentation.
The Board of Directors apologises for any inconvenience caused and looks forward to welcoming shareholders to the webinar.
